Reporting line

The Commission reports to the President's Office. Policy direction comes through that line. This site is maintained by the Commission; content touching Liberian investment law is verified with the National Investment Commission or the Ministry of Commerce & Industry before it is published.

How we handle what you tell us

Every enquiry is assigned to a named officer and acknowledged within two business days. Enquiries move through a recorded pipeline: received, qualified, assigned, in progress, referred to the National Investment Commission or another partner where appropriate, and closed. You can ask us at any point who owns your file and where it stands.

Prototype note. The reporting line above comes from a verbal go-ahead, not a document. Before launch it must be confirmed in writing and recorded with a source and a date. A misstatement about the structure of a government body is exactly the class of error this site exists to prevent.

Pending verification

This section will state the Commission’s formal terms of reference and the date of its establishment. It is deliberately empty. Nothing about investment law, tax incentives, licensing, land tenure, tariffs or repatriation of profits may be drafted here until it is confirmed with the National Investment Commission and recorded with a source and a verification date.
